Group Lessons
Most group lessons are ineffective. They don’t cater effectively for everyone and progress is slow. Student absence means teachers struggle to keep the group together, ending up with students feeling frustrated and demotivated.
At Redditch Music School we recognise the problems that most group lessons face. That’s why we’ve gone back to the drawing board on group lessons and created a group course that will work for everyone. It’s fun, engaging and includes all the elements needed to make all-round brilliant musicians, including:
- Note and rhythm literacy
- Aural and singing ability
- Knowledge of important theory
- Ability to play with others
- Performance skills
- Improvisational skills
- Confidence!
Our 45 minute sessions pack in all these things and more. A key component of the success of our group lessons are the free downloads included in the cost of your lessons. These include homework sheets, instructional videos and backing tracks that you can play along at home with. They make practice both fun and effective, meaning you progress quickly. It also means if you miss a session you can catch up and not be left behind!
Exams can be taken within our groups so you can be rewarded for your hard work. You will also get the opportunity to perform in concerts. Our course gives all the benefits of group lessons without any of the traditional drawbacks!
